Jewellery Display At View

Nyngan Day View is looking forward to the June meeting at the RSL Club with our special guest artist Robyn Gordon and Gai Sacks. Gai will speak about her interesting life since leaving Nyngan and Robyn will be displaying jewellery, which she designs and makes herself. She uses a wide range of materials, pewter (which is gold), silver bronze or black nickel plated and coloured eposcy enamels, silk and other textiles, semi-precious and glass beads. Colour is often an important element in the work. Forms include brooches, earrings, neck pieces, bracelets, cufflinks and buttons. Robyn is a Sydney artist whose work depicts and interprets forms and relationships in the environment.

Since 1980 her work has been regularly exhibited throughout Australia, Great Britain, France, Spain, Germany, USA. New Zealand, Japan, Korea and China.
